1. Priyanka Chopra Jonas
The Desi Girl never forgets her roots and, true to that, she chose to adorn a Banarasi patola to embrace a vintage look as she owns it. While representing her ethnicity with pride on the global platform, she blended it with western influences as evident from her sequined sheet holographic bustier. The saree designed by Amit Aggarwal weaves silver and gold threads on khadi silk on stripes of nine contrasting colours. Her dark brown lips and highlighted cheekbones were the highlights of her makeup, while her footwear was equally multi-coloured as her outfit. She wore her hair down in light curls. Priyanka accessorised the outfit with a shimmery neckpiece and ear studs.

You can never go wrong with a gown painted in ivory, gold, and red. If that’s not your combo, opt for colours that hold true to you.
