How to prevent hair damage and maintain healthy, strong locks

Avoid using hot water when washing your hair, as it can strip your hair of its natural oils. Instead, opt for lukewarm water.

Use a wide-tooth comb or a brush with soft bristles to detangle your hair, starting at the ends and working your way up to the roots.

Avoid using heat-styling tools, such as hair dryers, straighteners, and curling irons, as much as possible. If you do use them, make sure to use a heat-protectant spray and set the temperature to a low or medium setting.

Avoid using harsh chemicals, such as hair dyes and hair bleaches, as they can damage your hair. If you do use these products, make sure to follow the instructions carefully and use a deep conditioning treatment afterwards.

Consider using natural oils, such as coconut oil or olive oil, to nourish your hair and promote healthy growth. Apply the oil to the ends of your hair, and leave it on for at least 30 minutes before washing it out.
