1. Choose high-quality extra-virgin olive oil: Look for a high-quality extra-virgin olive oil, which is cold-pressed and unrefined. This type of olive oil contains more antioxidants and nutrients, making it more beneficial for your skin.

2. Apply to damp skin: Olive oil works best when applied to damp skin, as it helps lock in moisture. After showering or washing your face, gently pat your skin dry with a towel, leaving some moisture on the surface.

3. Start with a small amount: You only need a small amount of olive oil to moisturize your skin. Start with a few drops and apply it to your face or body in a circular motion.

4. Massage in thoroughly: Massage the olive oil into your skin using gentle, circular motions. This will help it penetrate deep into your skin and promote better absorption.

5. Use as a night-time moisturizer: Olive oil can be too heavy for daytime use and can make your skin look greasy. Instead, use it as a night-time moisturizer to allow it to work its magic while you sleep.

6. Avoid using on acne-prone skin: While olive oil can be beneficial for most skin types, it may not be suitable for acne-prone skin. If you have oily or acne-prone skin, use olive oil sparingly and only in areas where you don't have breakouts.
