1. Use a Broad-Spectrum Sunscreen: Make sure to choose a sunscreen that offers broad-spectrum protection, which means it protects against both UVA and UVB rays. Look for a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30.

2. Apply Sunscreen Everyday: It's important to wear sunscreen every day, not just on sunny days. UV rays can penetrate through clouds and windows, so even if you're indoors or it's cloudy outside, you still need to wear sunscreen.

3. Apply Sunscreen Before Sun Exposure: Apply sunscreen 15-20 minutes before sun exposure to allow the product to fully absorb into the skin. Be sure to apply enough to cover all exposed areas, including the face, neck, and ears.

4. Reapply Sunscreen Every Two Hours: Sunscreen should be reapplied every two hours or immediately after swimming or sweating. Even if you're using a water-resistant formula, it's still important to reapply to ensure adequate protection.

5. Consider Using a Mineral Sunscreen: Mineral sunscreens contain zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, which sit on top of the skin and reflect UV rays away from the skin. They are a great option for those with sensitive skin or who prefer a more natural approach to skincare.

6. Use Sunscreen as the Last Step in Your Skincare Routine: Sunscreen should be the last step in your skincare routine, applied after moisturizer and before makeup. This ensures that the sunscreen can fully protect your skin without any interference from other skincare products or makeup.
