The Right Bedtime Skincare Routine Based On Your Skin Type

Step 1: Cleanser

Start with cleansing your face with a gel-based cleanser. If you had makeup on, remove your makeup using a water-based makeup remover and then cleanse it. Using lukewarm water to wash your face is the best for your skin type.

Step 2: Toner

Take some toner in your hand and apply it directly on your face. Wait for 4-5 seconds for it to dry.

Step 3: Moisturiser

Your skin needs hydration even if it is oily. Skipping moisturiser causes excess sebum production and then your skin tends to get even more oily. Therefore, go for oil-free moisturisers and apply it on your face and neck.

Step 4: Ointments

If you have active pimples your night skincare routine for acne-prone skin should also include ointments if prescribed any. Leave it overnight or as prescribed for them to work effectively.
