1. Chamomile Tea

Flavours extracted from the chamomile flower are blended with green tea leaves to give us chamomile tea, one of the best teas that induce peaceful sleep. The flower is recognised for relieving tension, calming the mind, and relaxing the body. And when combined with green tea, which has its own health benefits, it only enhances the stress-relieving properties of this tea. A few warm cups of chamomile tea after 4 pm is sure to ensure restful sleep after 8 pm. 

2. Lemongrass Ginger Tea

A potent combination of lemongrass leaf extracts and ginger, the health benefits of this tea are immense. Lemongrass is known for revitalising the body and treating anxiety and depression. Ginger, on the other hand, relieves symptoms of nausea, gas, and bloating, as well as menstrual cramp pain. 4. Lavender Tea

5. Low Caffeine Green Tea

Much has been written about the health benefits of green tea in the past few years and understandably so. One of those many benefits is its ability to relieve insomnia and ensure quality sleep. Epigallocatechin-3-O-gallate (EGCG), a sedative ingredient present in this tea, works wonders in reducing stress and feelings of fatigue. However, keep in mind that it is the low-caffeinated version of green tea, or better still the non-caffeinated version, which offers you these benefits and not the one that is high on caffeine, a compound that disrupts sleep. 

6. Passionflower Tea

Brewed from the fresh or dried leaves of passionflower, which has been recognised for its medicinal properties for ages and used as a herbal supplement. Studies have proved that drinking a cup of this herbal tea once a day for a week significantly enhanced the quality of sleep.
